The North Castle Police Department received a call shortly before 5 p.m. on Monday, June 24, from a woman stating that her 8-month-old baby had been locked inside an Audi that was not running in a Business Park Drive parking lot.

Police said that dispatchers alerted the Armonk Garage, who responded to the scene alongside officers from the department.

The baby was able to be extricated from the car without further incident and was unharmed, police said. The baby checked out fine and the mother and her child were able to leave the area.
